Yes, they are the exact same. How would you suggest I clean it? Taking it apart and using rubbing alcohol on the lens? Or buying one of those disks with the brush on them?

I have burned countless of dvd dl's in the past and I have always used verbatims. But now my burner no longer reads blank dvd+r dl's. I have inserted a dvd dl that I had burned in the past and it reads it just fine. It just seems to have a problem reading blank ones. I was able to burn a regular dvd-r just fine. My burner is a LiteOn LH-16W1P with the latest firmware SL08 When I use ImgBurn, i get a "no reference position found" error. Anyone have any suggestions?
