It's made in Singapore. Do you think there are some problems on my dvd drive? My drive just passed the 30-day free return warranty, although I just used it for several times. I will try to contact with the customer service of newegg to ask for replacement.

Hi everyone, I bought the pioneer 216dbk drive last month. At firstly, I use memorex disc for buring. However, I tried 10 pics, and none of them was successful. 100% lost!!! So I bought the verbatim discs (MKM-001-00, Write Speed: 2.4x) to replace the memorex. At beginning, I successfully burn 5 pics. But recently, when I try to burn the 6th one, it became worse. Now, the successful ratio for verbatim is 50%. Previously, I used 2.4X for burn, now I use 4X for burn. But it seems no useful. Now, when I want to burn a game, the first time always failed.
