I am having terriible trouble burning with Imgburn my burns keep stopping at 50% everytime. Now I have had so much trouble with ImgBurn, I have been using the older dvd decrypter program with success until now. Even dvd decrypter is coming up with the same error. Until today I have had over 20 perfect burns. I know I have the best media and a clean lens, I also remember to set the book type. Please help I have wasted 5 discs in my new pack. Below is a copy of my log, the only thing I can think of is my older burner could be the problem. I have also tried burning at 4x speed, but no success. Please help.

I have been having terrible trouble with ImgBurn for weeks. I burn at 2.4x with verbatim dvd+r dl and my discs are made from India. I also remember to set the layer break and booktype to dvd-rom. Now I have gone through a 20 pac with only 10 working. What happens is that my burns get to 49% done and then they fail. I have cleaned by lens and tried to update my firmware on my dvd burner. Could someone please help. Do I have the latest firmware on my burner?

Does it matter where my Verbatim 2.4X DVD+R DL is made? I just returned bad batch of 20 2.4X DVD+R DL that were from singapore for a new batch that were made in India. I hope this will fix my problem. Thanks for all the help.

Is there a difference between Verbatim 2.4x DVD+R DL and Verbatim 8x DVD+R DL ? Because I was previously using the 8X DVD+R DL and having no problems. What is the better disc ?

My disc are made in singapore. Is it possible that I could have a batch of bad disc because I have used Verbatim 8X DVD+R DL before and have had no issues.
