  1. PROBLEM FINALLY RESOLVED. THE PIONEER DVR-119D DRIVE WAS THE PROBLEM. REPLACED WITH A MITSUMI CR48X9TE CD WRITER - NO MORE COASTERS. WILL NOW PURCHASE A NEW CD/DVD WRITER. CarolinaGuy

  3. I much PREFER IMGBURN!! Will keep trying to IMPROVE drivers so I can use IMGBURN. CarolinaGuy
  4. Well, I'm still unable to make a DVD with ImgBurn but was able to back up the folder I needed using WIN 7 built-in burner. CarolinaGuy
  5. Which BIOS version do you have on that board? Could you try plugging only that burner as Master at the end of a decent 80-wire IDE cable? BIOS 1006 Could you try plugging only that burner as Master at the end of a decent 80-wire IDE cable? The DVD is connected to the primary connection on the secondary channel. No other device on the ribbon cable. Drive "C" & "D" are on the Primary channel. CarolinaGuy
