Ok do you know of a better free system that converts avi to dvd format

Hey I'm new to this I downloaded some files from graboid and converted them with DVD forger and am trying to burn with Imgburn but the audio and video don't play together can anyone tell me how to fix this is it a problem with graboid or Img or dvd forger I am getting so frustrated and have already wasted like 3 blank discs. Please if anyone has had the same problem I really want to put all the movies I have on graboid to discs.
