  1. Just bought a new pack of 10 memorex dl's and having problems burning a dvd file. Im not sure weather it's the dl's or the dvd/iso file. Im using a burner thats been sucessful with many burn's before and all i have changed is my DL's. I would download a new dvd file and then find out if it's the DL's or the file, i write at 2.0-2.4 and it starts but just lags and stays on the start bit for ages and doesn't move. 2. Got a message back from him just now saying the following:
  3. Oh no, im an idiot. It was pointless me buying that then, is it worth me waiting to see if they'll burn with it or should i just try something else
  4. Even the manufacturer knows how good their hardware is You could try burning at 4x but your best chance would be with the 2.4x Verbatim blanks. Laptop drives generally aren't good burners, and Matshita are the worst of them. If you could get an external burner it would be even better, and they could even burn those 8x Verbatims you have Thanks for your help Just bought a used external slim one on ebay for
  5. Hi, new here, i just tred to burn an xbox 360 game, i have the Verbatim 8x DL DVD+R and im assuming my burner can burn these. I've tried two different ISO files and both get the same error. I know its not my DVD burner as i recently burned a DVD today. Should i try and buy the 2.4's or is it the fact i cant burn DL on this burner?
