  1. Ah ok, researched it. Makes sense now. And chances are yeah Ill need to replace the drive. Albeit I dont want to since its gonna cost me almost $100. So Ill look into external DVDRW Drives. Thanks for the info and the help.
  2. Well what I did for the successful burn was I used Nero and burned an audio cd with music. Added music to make a full CD, then burned. IT made the cd successfully. The Ubuntu ISO that I was trying to burn just didnt want to burn at all. This morning I burned an ISO from a A+ Course cd I have, that burned successfully as well. So my deduction was that it was just the ISO. If it doesnt work then what couldve been the problem?
  3. Ok I messed around with different speeds and then with Nero it got to about 14% and then gave an error. IMGBurn and other programs still gives the same error. edit: ok tried burning one more time and burn was successful. mustve been the iso itself is just not good.
