EDIT: huh... I think my burner is not dead... just tried to burn a CD-R and it worked... why only dvd?
I forgot to mention I get clicks while loading the dvd (and the led keep flashing), then it stops and I get the above mentioned error. I've got a similar behavior with my "The Sims 2" original dvd disc, same clicks and so... but I could get it to work (started the game just after inserting dvd)... anyway, I'll post updates on this after I get the cleaning disc.
The log of the failure on writing music CD (no Power Calibration Area Error as I thought... that one was like 7 months ago ). I know I used 2.4.4.0 version that time, but I only checked for newer version after I got the dvd error...
