There's newer firmware available for your burner (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished). I updated the firmware, I will try it again with verify, hopefully it works....Thanks again, and I'll update once I give it another shot.

Hello Cynthia, Thank you for your quick response , I do have it on auto, should I change it to something else. How can I tell if I have a rebadged burner (not a true Optiarc)? and if I do what are my options. Thanks again,

I have a Optiarc rw ad-7560a ata burner, and I've seen other people on this forum who have been able to change their booktype. For some reason whenever I try to change booktypes, the same message keeps on coming up, "Failed Invalid Command Operation." Any help would be greatly appreciated.
