I burned a 46BG rar file to a Verbatim BD-RW DL. When I try to copy the file back to the PC it chokes at exactly 50%. I tried 2 different drives and they both error out at 50%. I'm guessing it can't or won't read the second layer? I've tried burning the disc on 2 different drives with the same result. I believe I used UDF 2.60 file system...

Every time I go to burn an audio cd image that has been encoded in FLAC I have to reinstall Madflac. This has never been as issue until Windows 11 23H2. Is there a way to stop this from happening or is it an issue I'll just have to deal with?

Me again! I was trying to create a cue sheet from a flac file and got the error pictured below. I have madflac installed and it's merit set to preferred. What else could cause this error?

Got it! Works like a charm! Thanks...

Is madflac already within Windows 7 or do I need to download it?

I have found when I decode flac files in imgburn Accurate Rip flags them as inaccurate. However, if I decode the files with Flac Frontend and then burn them with imgburn all is well. I realize this is not a fault with imgburn, but the Windows decoder it is using. Is it possible to set imgburn to use the Flac Frontend decoder?

Yep, that was it. Thanks for your time...

I recently had to re-install windows and now when I try to add an mp3 to a cue sheet, I get a directshow error and imgburn quits responding. Thanks...

I uninstalled that pesky Roxio crap and all is well! It was Easy Media Creator I wanted to get rid of anyway. The only thing I used it for was burning audio CDs. Thanks a bunch!!!!!

Thanks, but there is no need as I transferred the folder containing the mp3s to an older computer and it created and burned the cue sheet without a hitch. Could it be something I have installed? BD Rebuilder? Roxio Easy Media? Thanks...

I just figured out a few days ago ImgBurn will create cue sheets! Hooray! However when I try to add an audio file I get this error. Other files are added without problems. The mp3s were created with EAC and Lame, if that helps. Thanks... I 19:16:30 ImgBurn Version 2.5.7.0 started! Players firmware is up to date. I received a couple BR-RE-DLs ($15 apiece!) in the mail today. I burnt a data disc using the UDF 2.50 (imgburn made me) option and all was well. I guess I'll just stick with that for now until I have time to play around with it. Thanks...

Accurate copies of CD-Extra using EAC + ImgBurn
Kevro869 replied to Tony1337's topic in ImgBurn Support
Enhanced CDs are merely dual session discs which aren't hard to make, I just don't see an option in imgburn to leave the session open after the first (audio) session. -
This is a a page from the .PDF manual. From my understanding it should work, right?

I have successfully burned a backup of music files to a Verbatim BD-R. The backup is fine in both computers with Blu-ray drives but my stand alone Blu-ray player just says "check disc." The backup was created using ISO9660+Joliet, which has always worked great for data dvds. Should I use UDF for Blu-ray data discs? The stand alone player works fine with data dvds containing mp3s and wav files. I burned a movie with UDF 2.50 and it works fine. I only have a few BD-Rs to work with so I can't afford any coasters... TIA

Is it normal for Imgburn to always do a full format? I can't get it to do a quick format at all... TIA
