  1. I "found" I can play DVD-Audio discs using my soundcard's DVD-Audio player. I never knew I had that! I was always burning DVD-A for my car. Anyway, yes, the disc DID burn fine. It's the Verbatims! They don't work in my car's DVD-A player. So much for the perfect media. They don't make DL DVD-R discs do they? I find the DVD-R discs are best in the car. Thanks for your help with this matter. I'll keep you posted on what I do next.
  2. Do what this post from the FAQ says (removing IDE controllers/etc) and try again. You might also want to look for the latest drivers for your motherboard's chipset or storage controller (use SIW to find out their brand/model). I uninstalled/re-installed the IDE controllers and the burn appeared to work fine. Only problem was the disc won't play in my car (Acura TL). I've burned other discs before that played in the TL. Any ideas? Does this log look ok? I 20:41:26 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! 3. Hi guys, first time poster, long time lurker. I've been having some issues burning DL discs lately. In the past I've normally had success. I hadn't used ImgBurn in over a year (or longer) so I updated to version 2.5.0.0 before I did anything. I still had some problems burning. Since I was using Fuji 2.4x DL DVD+R discs, I read on here that they were not reliable, so I bought Verbatim 2.4x DL DVD+R discs (made in Singapore). I also updated the firmware on my Sony DRU - 700A drive. Last night, I went to burn my ISO image and here's the log that I woke up to (all the retry attempts were me): I 03:59:22 ImgBurn Version 2.5.0.0 started! I 03:59:22 Microsoft Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600 : Service Pack 2) I 03:59:22 Total Physical Memory: 1,048,044 KB - Available: 607,152 KB W 03:59:22 Drive J:\ (FAT32) does not support single files > 4 GB in size.
