-
im on windows xp and i can only find storage volumes oh yh i have 4 sata ports aswel
-

NVIDIA Nforce4 Serial ATA Controller
cant find scsi controllers
-
what about which sata port i use is there a certain one it should be in
-
thanks anything else i can do i cant use my last disc until i can be sure. does Sataraid help
-
nvidia nforce and i havent tried a new cable yet this cable im using worked fine on my hard drive
-
Then you have a general communication (drive -> controller on the motherboard) problem and it's nothing to do with write speeds.
You can access the previous logs via the 'Help' menu.
the log is not there anymore just checked ive installed all the latest drivers for the motherboard before aswel
-
And what's the problem with that? The slowest speed doesn't necessarily result in a better quality burn, especially on new burners like the 7240S.
Post the log of the most recent dual-layer burn you've made (look in ImgBurn's Help menu).
i cant waste my last verbatim disc the log was saying
failed to write sector reason: communicatin error crc something? DMA
Loads of times and had about 260 retries ive updated it to the latest firmware 1.03
-
just got my optirac ad 7240s and it will only write DVD+R DL at 3.8x to 4.0x how do i write at 2.4x help please
-
Have a look in our Drives and Media sections, but don't just take our word for it: also have a look at the cdfreaks forum where many people test their burners and those two models have had a lot of testing done
OK thanks alot
-
