Hey, everyone. Thanks so much for all of your help. I tried burning at 2.4x on the Verbatim disc and it worked flawlessly. I even had my eyes closed when I turned on the 360. I'm still at a loss to explain why the brand of media made such a difference, but there you go. If someone can tell me why, I'd love to hear it. That doesn't fill me with a lot of confidence. I don't want to make a bunch of $4 coasters. Is there nothing in the log that would indicate what's going wrong? Is it because I'm simultaneously downloading three other images?

I posted a previous log problem and it was suggested I upgrade my firmware and try new media. I upgraded my firmware and tried the same media (Memorex 8X 8.5 DL) and my burn didn't even make it out of the starting block. I bought a bunch of new Verbatim discs but I'm hesitating to try them because they're like $4 each. Are all of these errors honestly caused by the wrong type of disc? (This was a 360 backup burn). Hey, all. I've been trying to make a copy of Street Fighter IV. I tried using Nero but nothing worked. Google led me to ImgBurn. I've tried three discs and none of them have burned successfully. I'm using Memorex 8X 8.5 GB DVD+R DL discs, and from reading the posts on this site, I'm wondering if I just need to switch to Verbatim. If that's the case, would these discs be acceptable?
