I have installed the newest Nvidia Graphics drivers and it is once again working. So it was a driver issue. Thanks for the help and an amazing piece of software.
Nope, no compatibility mode. Yes, it does indicate Win 7 in the log file. So it must be something else on my pc.
I am not the only one. If you google there are other cases exactly like mine.

I installed the newest version and the progressbar worked fine for a while. Now it has stopped working.
I have tried re-installing but it still does not work? Any ideas?
