Same media as before I mean same media code and same bundle too. I dont think a cleaning disk will work, cause any other media, except DL, I can burn without problems. I will update my firmware, but I think it wont change anything. Anyway I would like to know if it is possible my burner is partially dead? I mean, only dead for burning DVD DL medias. Hello guys, this is my first post and I'm already asking for help, sorry about that. Well my story is the following: I've always used RIDATA media and never had any problems, but now, suddenly, I've got these errors of invalid adress, and when sometimes I dont get the error my burned copy doesn't work properly. I need some help about what should be the problem and what should I do. I thought about some hypothesis and would like your opinion. 1- Media - Overruled - I've always used the same media and never had problems 2- Firmware Update - Overulled - Same as above 3- Upgrade my memory (512 MB only) - I think that's not the solution either, cause I made a lot of successful copy's 4- Need to Format C: - Has been a lot of time without formating C:, but I've always defragmented the HD, but anyway why suddenly the problems would appear and are they really related? 5- My Burner is Dead - Maybe this is the more likely hypothesis, but I can burn without any problem dvds and cd's (using nero), the only problem I'm having is with DUAL LAYER BURNS.
