ok thanks for the help! Im too cheap to go invest in a new drive so will try to get a hold of some older dvds I guess. Any advice on where/what to get?

So tried to burn an image via the "write image file to disk" option. Upon a succesfull burning the program tries to verify the disk but I get the error: incompatible medium installed Bascicly I cant read the disk in my drive.......Any advice on what im doing wrong? Am i perhaps using a wrong blank dvd-disk(although they all look the same to me)? Also what I was trying was making a bootable windows cd from an image file but didn't get the option to make it a boot disk with the "write image file to disk" option. So assuming I solve my first issue will a succesfull burn result in a bootable cd?
