Sorry, I'm kind of lost here, I'm not to hardware savvy and didn't build the machine. I went through device manager, checking under IDE ATA/ATAPI Controller (I think that was the right place) I have: 2 x ATA Channel 0 2 x ATA Channel 1 2 x Standard Dual Channel PCI IDE Controller. Now, checking under properties, everything just states generic and doesn't give me any brand names. I tried updating everything through Windows 7 update driver, but it just keeps stating that it's up-to-date. I downloaded the Optiarc Firmware Flash Utility and updated to 1.03, it worked for three DVDs, then I got the problem again. Still freezing at waiting for graph trend data thread and having to remove the driver and reinstall in order to open the drive. I think I've wasted about 10 DVDs doing this now!

Update your burner's firmware (remove any disc and close the tray before updating then reboot after it's finished) and try again. You might want to try burning at 6x or 8x to see if you get a better burn. Have you installed win7 drivers for your SATA controller? Thanks, I updated my driver again. It was up to date, but I went through the Windows troubleshooter the last time and it must have installed the 1.01 driver instead of the 1.03. Anyways, what are the win7 SATA controller driver and where would i find them? Thanks!

Hi, I'm kind of a n00b, however I've been having the same frustrating problem since I've updated to Windows 7 64 bit professional. ImgBurn gets stuck at 100% and displays "Waiting for Graph Data Thread". It then does not move forward, and canceling the disc does not work either, I have to shut down the program through task manager. Furthermore, after this process my disc drive is no longer functional, I am forced to delete the drivers for the DVD burner and then reinstall, otherwise I can't even open the tray up. This doesn't happen every time but I'd say maybe once every 4-5 discs, which is enough to be an annoyance, not to mention wasted discs. My drivers are up to date, not sure what else to do with this.
