Nope, didn't work.

Hi! I'm having problems burning DVD (CDs work fine). My computer completely freezes at some random point everytime. The disc continues to spin, but nothing is being written. The only way to fix this is to reboot. Doesn't matter what I'm burning. I've tried imation and TDK DVD-Rs. Specs: Optiarc DVD-RW AD-5170A MSI 7250 K9N SLI AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ 2,5GHz HD4770 4GB RAM
