Eureka! Getting DVD - R did the trick! Thank you all so much.

For some reason on the first few burn attempts while I still got the error it verified it just fine, although whenever I try and put it back into the drive the disc cannot seem to be detected. I also don't think it's that the burner is dirty as I could burn CDs just fine without issue. I guess I'll try getting DVD - R discs and see if that helps, but if not then, I'll keep trying to figure out a solution somehow. I'm not giving up on this.

It's not so much that I would miss the data. But I guess what I was trying to say was that in the event that it does work, the game might be skippy since it was burned too fast. Ok, I am trying to burn a video game iso to a Verbatim DVD + R disc. It is usually recommended I burn at 4X speed so as not to miss any data. Also PS2 will not read the disc as a valid PS2 disc despite usuing the swap magic trick. Can anyone tell me what I can do to resolve the issue?
