  3. If that is the view taken, I might as well give up now. As stated the problem occurs with all software I try not just ImgBurn. So I guess it is not really an ImgBurn issue. I was just hoping some kind soul might be able to help me. I think it is a problem between Windows (Vista and 7) and the driver/firmware.
  4. I have searched for topics that might help, but none describe my problem. No matter what software I use I always get the error message - Windows cannot complete the format. I have an HL-DT-ST BD-RE BH20N ATA drive with the latest firmware - C106/A05 and am using Memorex BD-re discs. Microsoft provide no solution. Dell tell me it is a software problem but will not tell me the solution. HELP. Error has occured under both Vista and Windows 7. Error produced immediately format starts.
