Unfortunately I don't have any DVD+R, but I don't think that would make much of a difference, since it has been working earlier. About the Burning process, it's not always that slow, sometimes it burns at 4x and sometimes at 12x (although it takes a while for it to get to that speed) About the verify rate, yeah you're right, it gets to the speed, but it takes sooo damn long, I remember that in the start it went to maximum verify rate in like seconds, and same with burning speed...

Hey guys. lately I've been experiencing some problems when burning media onto my discs. i often burn movie .ISO onto my dvd's (some no-name discs with a max speed of 16x) My drive is a Samsung 203D. (the other drive spoken about in my log is a virtual drive created by Daemon tools, it's the bluray/hd one) My issue is that when I installed win 7 a few months ago, there was no problems at all, if I chose to burn a media with 8x speed it did that, and afterwards verified the media with an average speed of 14x-16x. Now, a few weeks ago the average verifyspeed fell drastically, sometimes only reaching below 4x of average, and always starting out really slow, and building up the speed while verifying. And also, I'm burning a disc right now, at even though the max write speed is set to 12x it's only burning with 3.6x.. You guys have any ideas why this is happening?
