well, tried @ 8x, no luck...tried a different kind of disc, and got excited when the error didn't pop up, but realised the pc froze.... I DID however get more info about this pc..it is my girlfriends. She says she downloaded codecs right before it quit working. she was trying some other program and it asked to download some special codecs for it build engine. Make any sense?? and sorry about the re-posts...am tired

Your burner made a bad burn at 4x, so try 6x or 8x to see if you get it to burn correctly. If it doesn't work then try with high quality media such as Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden blanks.

When I start Imgburn, I notice that it recognizes my cd/dvd drive as a RAM, not a rom. Then as i go through the process, the program gets all the way to where i have to push the disc drive back in to verify, and I get an error stating basicly that the files on the disc are smaller than the source image.
