I just bought two Optiarc AD-7260S and updated the firmware to 1.1. This problem is gone. It was the drive. Damn you Lite-on! Thanks for the support!

Well, you may have been right. It's worked twice but also made 8 coasters. I can't pinpoint what may be causing this. I hate to buy a new burner since I really just got this one a few months ago.

Hey! That worked. I've been doing it the ISO way for so long I can't remember why. I used DVDshrink to create the Video_TS folder and the Audio_TS folder. When I try to do that I get the message that the file is too big for the disk. That's why I run it through DVD Shrink first. If there is another way, I'd certainly love to hear it! Thanks

Didn't try 8x. I've always burned at 4x or less. Just thought that slower would be more dependable and speed was never really a concern for me. Didn't realize that faster could solve problems. They're real TY. Been using them for about 3 years. Same kind. I get them from shop4tech.com Don't have a cleaning disc but I blew some compressed air in there. This drive was just purchased from newegg in February.

I've used media from 2 different spindles (all TY), have made about 5-6 coasters using all different ISO files and can't find any firmware update for my Lite-On drive. Everything else is up to date. Any ideas?

I've read the guide for How to write an Audio CD from music files using ImgBurn and have a simple question that I can't seem to find an answer to. In the screenshots in the guide there is a percentage indicator about half way down the CUE screen. It shows 49% in that example. What exactly does that indicate? I'm making a CUE files from about 200 songs. The total file size on my HD is 926MB which will obviously fit comfortably on a 4.7GB DVD but that little indicator is showing 1013% which makes me think that I have done something wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
