oh this was quite embarrassing. This might be true actually I always took for granted that I had a dvd burner. thanks for the help anyways!

name was too long so I took a screenshot at it.dvdrom.bmp

As topic says, "no writers detected" I have tried to uninstall the device and rebooted afterwards but the same problem occurs. I have also tried several dvds just to make sure that the dvd itself wasnt corrupt. Do you guys have any solution to this? I'm using ms xp sp3 imgburn.bmp
