Thanks Cynthia... I pulled my files out of its folder and it worked. I won't get a chance to try again tonight to see if its just a fluke or whatnot however I thank you for your help. Maybe my pc just doesn't like Sony disks.

Thank you for your quick reply. I've updated the firmware as you suggested (I didn't know I had to do that.) It hasn't made any difference however. I've burned my third coaster with the same error message as above.

Hello, I'm using IMGburn 2.5.0.0/Windows XP and have burned hundreds of dvds successfully. Today I've burnt two costers and received an unknown error message. I/O error!
