Could try the latest firmware. http://www.firmwarehq.com/Lite-On/SHW-1635S/files.html 6x is the lowest speed you can use with that media. Ill try the firmware update. As for the speed Ive tried everything from 4x up to 16x so I dont think thats the issue. Gone through 7 dvds so far. Hopefully that firmware will fix the issue. For some reason I keep getting these errors. But it doesnt always do it. sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. Im really lost here. Any help is appreciated. EDIT: In addition to these errors it seems to be loading the dvd with garbage data or something making it completely unreadable.
