I just tried the 4X setting and same thing...it craps out in the same spot every single time. I hope it's not the burner...it's only about 3 months old.

I haven't tried at 4X, no. I will, though. If not, I'll contact the person I got the blanks from. Otherwise, it seems like a media issue then? I have no idea what it could be. Thanks.

I've attached the log file, but I've run into this problem today using the exact same discs as always, the same speed as always, and so on and so forth. I've got a Blu-Ray movie I wish to burn, only it is in the form of two folders, BDMV and CERTIFICATE. As I have burned all previous movies from ISOs I am not sure how to burn this properly as I do not wish to waste a disc (if it doesn't work). Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm glad to know it's simply a "luck of the draw" thing and not something more sinister (haha). I'll do it slower (just to ease my mind) and hope it works. Has to be a DL disc though, of course.

I've reproduced the log file...any insight would be greatly appreciated. My first thought is that I burned it at too high a speed, but who knows?
