  1. Installing the new driver actually solved the issue - many thanks! Beginning of March, there was a similar thread ... maybe the same solution could apply there.
  2. It's on the Intel ICH9, port 2 or 3. The controller is configured as AHCI. Nothing too fancy ... I tried something else - if there's an empty DVD in the drive when Imgburn starts up, everything's OK. When there's a non-empty (i.e. non-writable) disc in there, the hang occurs immediately when I switch to Write mode.
  3. Folks, I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit with all the latest patches; the DVD burner is a LG GH22NS50 with the latest firmware (TN02). After burning an ISO image to a DVD, Imageburn 2.5.1 hangs while "Getting discs control block information ..." displayed in the main window. The DVD drive spins, and the DVD cannot be ejected. Only way to get out of this is to shutdown the machine. The DVD seems to be burned OK - if I check "Verify", the verification works OK but is followed by the "Getting discs control block information ..." hang. This is a typical log file ; //****************************************\\ ; ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 - Log ; Dienstag, 20 April 2010, 20:42:17 ; \\****************************************// ; ; I 20:28:13 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! Now, I've tried a different drive (LG GH10N) with the same results, and three different DVD blanks. Chipset drivers are current. CDs can be written OK. Any ideas what might be causing this?
