    I/O Error!

Nevermind. I just remembered that I need to include the log. When I looked at the log to paste it here, I found that it says that I tried to burn at 10x, but the drive only supports 2x. Duh! Thanks for a great product! I have donated to help support it. Everyone should.
  2. I just opened a new package of JVC (Taiyo Yuden) blu-ray disks (BD-R) and tried to burn some jpgs onto it with the latest version of ImgBurn on my LG GGW-H20L drive. I got the following error, early in the burn: I/O Error! Device: [0:4:0] HL-DT-ST-BD-RE GGW-H20L YL05 (E:) (ATAPI) ScsiStatus: 0x02 Interpretation: Check Condition CDB: AA 00 00 00 00 60 00 00 00 20 40 00 Interpretation: Write(12)-Sectors:96-127 Sense Area: 71 00 03 00 00 00 00 0A 37 2D 03 B4 0C 00 00 00 00 00 SK Interpretation: Medium Error ASC/ASCQ Interpretation: Write Error After I exited, I noticed that I had it set to 10X burn speed. What's the likely reason for the failure? Is it the burn speed? Is it that I need new firmware for my drive? Is it just bad luck? I want to sort this out before I make more expensive coasters, but I would prefer to not update the firmware if it's not necessary. Thanks.
  3. I presume the filesystem is FAT32. I've never checked. I haven't changed any defaults since I installed imgburn except I've turned on the drag-and-drop interface.
  4. The mode is the default "Ez-Mode Picker" has a checkmark. Why would the player reorder files on a disk? That would be bizarre. I'll try Build Mode if you suggest I do and if that fails, I'll try adding simple numbers at the beginning of the filenames. Thanks. korz
  5. I'm burning MP3's of Steve Dahl's podcast to CD-RW disks. Typically, I'll erase the disk and then burn 4 or 5 files onto it. I drag and drop file 1, then file 2, and so forth. The files are in "alphabetical" order. The filenames look like this: DahlCast_156_041510.mp3 DahlCast_157_041610.mp3 DahlCast_158_041910.mp3 DahlCast_159_042010.mp3 DahlCast_160_042110.mp3 When I go to listen to the disk in my Sony car stereo, they are in this order: Track 1: DahlCast_157_041610.mp3 Track 2: DahlCast_158_041910.mp3 Track 3: DahlCast_159_042010.mp3 Track 4: DahlCast_160_042110.mp3 Track 5: DahlCast_156_041510.mp3 This happens also when I burn 4 files. This has happened three consecutive times. Why is this happening and how do I fix it? Thanks. korz
