Ive only just started to really use this software, and it wont burn dvds faster than 1.9x (yet) even though i am using 8x dvd-rs and a hugely capable drive (look here if you want to check: http://www.ebuyer.com/UK/product/97237 ).
The info on the disk (Right window) is as follows:
HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-4167B DL11 (ATA)
Current Profile: DVD-R
Disc Information:
Status: Empty
Erasable: No
Free Sectors: 2,298,496
Free Space: 4,707,319,808 bytes
Free Time: 510:48:46 (MM:SS:FF)
Supported Write Speeds: 4x, 8x
And i chose 8x and MAX from the drop down menu, but when it goes and burns - 1.9x is the max
I'm baffled, please help
If it helps, im using folder2iso to make iso images about 4.3gb in size first, and then using imgburn to write these. It works, its just slow (30mins/disk)
