Which basically means you need to try 6x and 8x. What make is your PC? Dell, HP etc? At this point, I'm guessing it's an Acer. They're rubbish with firmware updates so you might like to crossflash it to a GSA-H20N or GSA-H22N. i tried other write speeds 2,4 2 and 4 and i dont know what u mean with what make/brand machine is that drive in?? im dutch and not so good with this things...
