Actually I need 2.4 x there isn't any other firmware out for this drive

Hi having trouble writing at 2x speed I have changed speed settings all tried all drop down menus and settings and all I get in the log is writing at 3x I also see smartburn in log how do I disable I have never had this problem before the spec is lite- on etau 180 external drive windows 7 and used the two latest revisions but write speed is being forced to x3
