Thanks for your reply. I'm not completely sure what you mean by having USB drive along the line. But the CDVD drive is directly connected to motherboard with Serial ATA so bandwith is not a problem. I can rip music normally etc. so reading speed is good with other software. It seems that only problems accure when creating images. I add image of Window's device controll. How can I know is DMA enabled or not?

Hi! I'm new with ImgBurn and I'd like to ask about slow reading rate. I've adjust the reading max to 8x (default) but it never get higher than 0.8x. It's frustrating to wait hour for one single cd-image. Is this normal and is there anything to do? I'm using 64-bit Windows 7 and TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-S223C ATA Device.
