Thanks for all your help. I knew what firmware was. My drive already had the latest version. I'll try the cleaner. It burns single-sided just fine. This was a dual-layer, large file attempt.

Failed again. This time on Verify cycle. Used 2.4x, Verbativ 2.4x DVD+R DL discs, don't have a "cleaning disc" and not sure what "firmware" you referred to could be updated. Log attached. Thx. ImgBurn 2.log
