Ya i am using some verbatim disks, that got some good reviews on amazon, but they arent quite top of the line. When i look at the disks after i burn them i can clearly see waves and rings in the disk. But i did just burn one with another laptop and it burned perfectly, so i think that i just have a crappy burner.

Alright i burned it on 3x and it i think it worked. I forgot to check the verify box but when i played it in my player it works so im assuming im all good. My computer is brand new is it possible i didnt get a very good drive?

So ive tried to burn this disk on 4 different speeds 3x,4x,6x,and 8x, and they all come up with the same i/o error. I dont know what i should do or what im doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.
