Ok, thanks. Ive got an old burner that i might try with it, was just easier to leave this one in the case when i changed it!! E-buyer have one for £12 delivered so i might just buy a new one Thanks again

Thanks for swift reply! It's the first time I've tried it. It's also a drive I inherited from my mother in law with her case, so don't know much about it. I presume its the latest firmware as win7 only 'installed' it a couple if days ago Don't want to try too many times, the discs are expensive! Do you think 6x or 8x would be best?
