I found that sometimes after using ImgBurn to write an .iso image to a CD/DVD disc, my newly written CD/DVD disc cannot be read by the DVD drive. After some investigation, I found that when I issued a "dir d:" command in the Command Prompt (assume d: is my DVD drive), I will get the "The parameter is incorrect" error. I need to logoff my Windows and login again to be able to resolve this problem.
Here are my hardware configurations:
Asus P6T Deluxe V2
Seagate 1.5T hard disk x 2 (setup in RAID1 using the builtin ICH10R RAID capability)
Plextor PX-L890SA SATA DVD writer
Plextor PX-880SA SATA DVD writer
ImgBurn 2.5.5.0
Windows 7 Ultimate with Service Pack 1 x64
I have installed the IntelĀ® Matrix Storage Manager Driver V8.9.0.1023 for Windows downloaded from ASUS website. It seems to me that the "The parameter is incorrect" problem is caused by ImgBurn.
Please investigate.
