Thanks for the replies. I've taken those points on board. The one thing that is odd though is that it's only started relatively recently, i.e since an imgburn update. The firmware in the drive hasn't been changed, hence my posting of the query on this forum. Also, if it was down to a firmware bug, why does it not happen religiously every time I wonder? I will try 16x from now on to see if that helps and let you know how I get on. And thanks again for responding so quickly. Lozzy

I'm frequently getting the following error, and yet the discs seem perfectly fine. It's a mismatch of the number of sectors on disc compared to the image. Any Ideas?
