  1. solved... dunno what caused it but unplugging and replugging in both ends of the sata worked.
  2. ok so I have been using image burn 2.5.0 with the verbatims for awhile now and its been perfect each time. No coasters ever!!! Just today I tried to burn an xbox 360 iso and I got burn errors on 2 dvd+dl. Then my dvd drive starts to dissapear off "my computer" window. It comes back if I restart the computer. Also when I restart, the dvd drive is there but after a bit when I load up image burn, it disappears. See below: I 04:22:58 ImgBurn Version 2.5.1.0 started! I am on Win 7 x64 and have even tried the upgraded image burn 2.5.1 with no luck. The only thing that has changed is the night prior, I did install MS Office 2010. Could the MS Office programs be causing the problem? TIA.
