I did find a freeware program Free-File-Splitter that breaks a large file into several "chunks" which can then be burned to disk using ImgBurn. This allows one to accomplish the task relatively painlessly.

Is it possible to use ImgBurn to split a large file over several CDs or DVDs? I'm a new forum member and have not been able to find this information yet. Thanks for writing a great program!
