I untick Ask related options . It hangs after next button is pressed and ask page remains visible

Don't see installer bar. It freezes after the request for Ask installer and I have to restart PC

It freezes after asking what I want to install. It keeps asking me to install Ask toolbar, which I don't want ever. Is it best to uninstall older version, and then install the new version?

Tried that before I posted the problem.

I have downloaded update version 2.5.2.0 however when I try to install this version my PC freezes. I have ver 2.5.1.0 installed. Ayn solutions please?
