Yes to the first question - on both the DVD writer players I have on my PC I've been playing the VOB and other DVd's on my PC which is where I normally play my DVD's

I would check the settings in that program. The Vob files in the TS folder also pay back in full sound - so why they don't after burning is baffling me

Thanks for the prompt response - I think you may be correct because I tried burning the same file with another prog and got the same results. What does puzzle me though is that I have tried the burn with 2 DVD writers, one internal, one external with the same unfortunate results. But they both replay other DVDs with no problems in sound or vision . Any thoughts or advice on what could be the problem.

My first post so be gentle folks - I have been using ImgBurn successfully for a couple of months. The last 2 times however, after a "successful" burn the DVD plays perfectly but without sound. Both unsuccessful times I was burning from a Video TS folder. Can anyone please advise me how to correct this error. Thanks in anticipation
