  1. OK, just one more for the end: should I break all other discs the same way - by selecting the IFO file (if there's one on the list, with "N/A" in it's columns)? I'm asking that, because there are no IFO files to choose on first and second disc.

  3. I'm a total noob about DVD-Video structure, I don't get it... Here's a picture of the beginning of that list.
  4. Chunk? If you mean, what's in the preview of that cell, it's an interactive map of Middle-Earth (that's why it's 00:00:00 in length). There are some blue and yellow stars near the top of that list.
  5. Look at these pictures below, it's the Fellowship of the Ring (Special Extended Edition) Disc 3 and Disc 4. Where to put the layer break, anywhere? Somewhere in the middle?
  6. I have a question about ImgBurn's layer break detection system. You know, it's the screen with various colored "stars", where you choose the optimal layer break point when burning DVD9 (dual-layer) discs. So, how ImgBurns detects those optimal layer break points (yellow, blue and green stars)? Does it analyze the movie scenes (and looks for transitions) somehow, or it checks the SPLIP values? And, in the end, how it decides whether a break point is "Excellent" or "Good"? I hope you understand what I just wrote...
  7. Thanks, that's all I wanna know. Now I just have to get the discs, and hope that my 28€ VIVAX will play them properly, especially near the layer break... But I think it will be just fine.
  8. Hi. I've used the "Create image file from files/folders" option, to make an image file of a 6.5 GB DVD Video (so I can burn it later, when I buy a dual-layer disc). I've added the VIDEO_TS folder, set up the layer break point, and saved the 6.5 GB ISO image to hard drive. However, when I mount it to Alcohol's virtual drive, and try to check it (using the "Verify disc" option), it reports that it has just one layer, and that it's recorded using PTP (Parallel Track Path) mode. Of course, I planned to burn it using OTP mode, so that the layer switch pause is shorter (although I see no option/setting for that in ImgBurn)... So, my question is: will the disc still have 2 layers when I finally burn it, and (much more important), will it be recorded using OTP method? ImgBurn: 2.5.2.0 Recorder: ASUS DRW-1814BL (firmware: 1.13) Discs I plan to use: Verbatim DVD+R DL, 8x, printable Player I plan to play those discs: VIVAX DVD-K195
