First off, once again sorry for hijacking the other thread. I just wanted a little feedback from this "I 05:35:14 Destination Media Type: DVD+R DL (Disc ID: MKM-001-00) (Speeds: 4x)" Trying to figure out how that could happen. I been using the same Verbatims that can do 2.4x, 4x, 6x. I have just reformatted my computer recently. Could it possibly have something to do with that? Then again, I've done all the Windows Updates and took care of the drivers and what not. How much should I even be concerned about this? As I said before, so far no problems with the speedier burns. It's just that when it seems like the general consensus is to burn it slow, I can't help but have that in the back of my mind.

Wow I was just going to make this topic. I actually accidentally had my settings set at max speed and it worked out fine but moving forward I rather be safe than sorry and thus would like to know why it write faster than I requested. I guess I can add my log while I'm at it. Sorry, not trying to hijack as we have the exact same problem more or less. I 05:33:52 ImgBurn Version 2.5.2.0 started! The chipset is the Intel 865PE chipset. I'm not exactly sure what you mean on the second part. I see Tools and under it Filter Driver Load Order. Sorry I don't understand exactly what you mean.
