The guys at service said that if it's writing correctly for everything else it does't need cleaning because if it was dirty than I would have errors with any disk, and must be a faulty SATA driver. Is that possible to be the driver or it's sure that's a hardware problem? P.S. Those Verbatims are the only ones that I can find in my location(Romania). Those cleaning disks are of any use? I allready have one but it's with some liquid solution and I'm affraid it will do more damage. Should I try it?

The problem is that if I write at more than 2,4x, my XBOX will not read the disk (allready tried at 4x). The speed must be 2,4x.

Hi. I have the following problem: when trying to write some DVD+R DL (Verbatim made in India because I can't find any made in Singapore in my location) I get the error shown in the attached picture and the Imgburn log. I should mention that I'm using latest imgburn 2.5.2.0, writer firmware is the latest version(I had the same problem with the old firmware also) and always writing at 2,4x on Windows 7. After some failures with Verbatim disks(some bought in their own case, others bought in 10x pack) I tryed a Memorex disk witch was write correctly. My writer is about one year old and it still has warranty so I went with it to the service and they tested it on another system with Nero 7 using 2 Omega DVD+R DL one written at max speed and the other written at 2,4x witch my writer also write perfectly. The writer also writes any other CD or DVD single layer without fault. Is there a chance that the SATA drivers from my system to cause the problem because sometimes it writes on Verbs correctly, sometime I get the error I was mentioning, error witch occurs random (sometimes at 20% or so, sometimes at 50% and sometimes on the second layer after 50%). Or my writer just don't likes Verbatim disks? I will try some more Memorex to see if they work as well. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks. log imgburn.txt
