I was being ungracioius. I do appreciate the generosity of the author in making this very good software available for free. I use a lot of free software, but I do not have a problem in making a donation, once I have settled on the "best" one. In image viewing, I have settled on IrfanView for myself, without expecting that everyone else would have the same preference. In burning software, I have not been able to get settled down yet to a single programme. I bought some years ago Roxio, also have Nero, and a bunch of free ones. Since I do not want to re-name tracks (because I keep making different compilations), the ordering of the tracks is important to me. Someone told me that iTunes could do it; I downloaded it, and yes, it does do it. However, I try to keep away from the "Evin Twins"' and I don't like the interface of the programme, either. I burn CDRW discs with my mp3 music tracks, for playing in my car. I would like the disc to be played in the order in which I "lay down" the tracks for the compilation. This does not seem to be possible in ImgBurn. Although I can move a track up or down or to the top or the bottom of the selection list (and it would be easier to do it by dragging), this makes no difference to the disc. I note that there is some information about the problem in the help documentation - which I do not understand. This is a problem with other burning software, too. However, ITunes can do it. So, if ITunes can do it, why can't ImgBurn do it also? Thanks for any help, A
