can it be bigger than 1kb is what im asking to

ok 1st off thanks for telling me about verbatim it works. so i have downloaded games and if i dont already have the img file needed i extract it and it gives me two img files one is always 1 kb and tha other is always way bigger. ok so this game i downloaded when i extracted it only gave me tha big number. im told to only use tha 1kb. so i used your program to build my on file but it says its 5 kb. is this ok to burn or did i do it wrong. help me out thanks
