I've tried searching for "synchronising cache" in the support forums, but I get a ton of hits because it's in so many logs that folks post. I found one relevant post but the answer there seemed to be setting RAID controls, and I don't have RAID.
I'm on an older XP box, with SP3 applied.
Problem is: burn goes quickly, no errors, then I hit 0% Synchronising Cache and nothing happens for 40 minutes. So I abort, and still nothing happens, ImgBurn is still stuck on 0% Synchronising Cache.

I haven't had this problem crop up yet, and have been able to burn both SONY DVD-R and RITEK DVD+R successfully using ImgBurn.
