oh okay thanks for your response. on my laptop it only supports burn speeds at 3x,4x but thats way too fast. After completion, the disc dosent always work because the games must be burnt at 2.4x. is there any way to force my drive to write any slower?

i dont think its the discs because they worked fine on my former laptop and on my current one. my current one however burns it too fast at 3x. only my desktop is capable at burning them at 2.4x but it gives me the dreaded error i detailed above.

Hey guys Ive been using ImgBurn for a while now but lately i have been running into the same error at 50% of completion while burning a game iso on a Memorex DVD+DL at 2.4x speed. Ive also tried a TDK DVD+DL at 2.4x speed but received the same error at 50%.
