  1. Its common knowledge that burning at 2.4x for the purposes of being read correctly by xbox360 is best practise. I have however now another issue ; screenshot attached. ive opted to by another drive Samsung SH-S223 22x DVD±RW DL & RAM SATA Optical Drive - OEM Black
  2. JOY!! I have swapped drives from my old server which has an NED ND4751A - put in desktop, set 2.4x speed , working just fine Shitty Sony Optiarc lol
  3. I changed the firmeware down to 1.06 when i i was trying to back track my steps to when I was able to produce working discs. This is a fresh spindle of discs i boguht over the internet. Im tempted to go to pc world and buy a different drive!
  4. Dear Forum users, I apologise in advance if this particular thread has been covered in detail before, but it is new to me. I used to be able to burn at 2.4x using my OPTIARC/NEC 7200A drive (This was on my xp system), and the discs would be read fine by my XBOX360. Since I have updated everything, Windows 7, Latest Firmware for mty drive (Currently 1.09), Latest imageburn. I can no longer burn at 2.4x speed. I get a drive speed miscompare. I do not wish to downgrade my system, so Im hoping based on the log below and any user that has the same/similar setup and is working, if you could please advise.
